When cutting your regular ribbon, cut it a bit longer than the height of your mesh ribbon. The pieces of cut mesh ribbon were about 7″ most of the time. Once it creates a full circle, cut the piece of mesh. To eyeball the length needed, you just need to begin to roll the mesh. I started by measuring 8″ pieces, but quickly switched to an eyeballing technique. You can either measure the mesh or you can eye ball it. They were perfect for my wreath! Her instructions are easy to follow and can act as a basis for most any type wreath you would like to make out of mesh. No big poufs and little poufs that have to be adjusted. The ruffles are usually all the same length and the wreath comes out nice and even. The ruffle technique is one of the simplest, easiest ways to make a mesh wreath. You could change the entire color scheme and choose other styles of mesh, ribbon and a sign. These are just some suggestions of what you could use for a similar wreath.
